Sommer Cook, depending on the depth and knowledge you want to acquire, has several courses with different levels of learning and content.
They are true lessons in culinary wisdom, with all the tricks and techniques at your reach, always taught by Chef Pedro Sommer, trainer at the School of Hospitality and Tourism of Estoril (EHTE) and the Association of Professional Cooks of Portugal (ACPP).
The dynamic of the courses involves all the participants, in the making of the course's recipes, in a logic of step-by-step explanation - Practical action.
Our courses are divided into 4 categories:​

BASIC

For those who are starting their adventure in the kitchen ...
At this level, we teach the most elementary and basic tricks to create fast, easy and economical meals, of your daily life, such as: Cuts (meat and fish), refuse, sauces, soups, vegetables, eggs, basic side dish and more.
Minimum: 6 people
Hours: 3 times a week, for 2 weeks, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Total course hours: 18 hours.

MEDIUM

For those who already have notions of cuisine, but wants to explore new gastronomic routes ...
At this level we will teach varied entrances, meat and fish recipes, soups, poultry, seafood, vegetables, eggs, various and alternative side dish, salads and more.
Minimum: 6 people.
Hours: 3 times a week, for 2 weeks, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Total course hours: 18 hours.​


ADVANCED

For those who want to be a true Chef in their home ...
This is a higher level, which every detail counts.
Top raw materials, rare and unique ingredients, clear techniques and accurated temperatures, are the basis of what we will teach: Gourmet entrances, foie gras, ceviches, risottos, seafood, pates, terrines, tartar, sashimis, meat and fish, carpaccios and more.
Minimum: 6 people.
Hours: 3 times a week, for 2 weeks, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
Total course hours: 24 hours.

CUSTOM COURSES

Any of these courses can be taught to one person, or to small groups of friends / acquaintances / family members, composed by less than 6 people.
